Rupesh Pariyar

Rupesh Pariyar was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. His music journey began at a very young age. He was inspired by his uncle who was a guitarist and got influenced by his music, his band performances and jamming sessions. Rupesh grew up listening to their music and he picked up guitar as his main instrument while he was in school. He was inspired by different music genres like rock, pop, rnb, soul jazz, metal, progressive metal, and percussive and fingerstyle of playing guitar. He also started performing in local gigs and was always involved in several musical events. In 2017 he was awarded KJC Scholarship to continue his further studies in music at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory (KJC) and there he got to learn jazz music.  At KJC he found really good vibes to learn and master the musical knowledge with amazing national and international faculty and is proud to get awarded with a scholarship. As a scholarship student he got many opportunities to perform with mainstream musicians, different studio sessions, teaching experience involvement in workshops, got Endorsed by nepali handcrafted guitars called sahana guitars nepal and also form his own band called ‘VOODOO U’ and 'THE CONSTANT' which is really doing great and it’s one of the best achievements of his life. Performing with these talented band members and getting all those achievements was a dream come true.
