Suman Khatri

Suman Khatri is a musician, guitarist and music educator currently based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is currently a guitarist in Voodoo U and Co-ordinator and a Guitar Instructor at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory. Suman joined the Australian band Silent Pride while he was in the country for further studies in 2009. He later joined the acclaimed Australian band 4 Dead In 5 Seconds, toured Nepal while playing at the Silence Festival in 2012 and flew to Europe to record an LP with the band in 2013 titled Bestiary - Book of Beasts. In 2015, he released the single Translucent as a duo named Convergence with his UK based friend Rupesh. Since 2016, Suman has lived in Kathmandu and has been teaching guitar at KJC. To date, he has taken lessons from famed metal guitarists like Wes Hauch (The Faceless), Jason Richardson (Born of Osiris), Ryan Knight (The Black Dahlia Murder) and Franceso Filigoi (Abiogenesis).
