Moa Edmunds Guevara

Moa is a Chilean guitarist and composer, who belongs to the new generation of musicians that mixes the western classical guitar with fusion and folk music. His commitment in performing South American rhythms, along with his own compositions and arrangements, are reflected in his wide musical range. With two composition books published, nine albums in different projects and one as a soloist, he has presented his work in countries like Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia, France, Nepal and India. He was awarded with the prize “"Mejor Interpretación de la obra chilena" (“Best performance on a Chilean composition”) in the International Classical Guitar Contest “Guitarra sin Fronteras” on 2015. Nowadays he’s part of the program “Teach to Learn” and a teacher in “Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory”, Nepal.
