Anish Manandhar

Anish is a musician, guitarist and music educator currently based in Kathmandu, Nepal. As a guitar player and learner from a young age, he took classes from most of the renowned musicians of Nepal. Moreover, he also studied gypsy jazz techniques and tunes and has been exploring and performing gypsy music.

As his curiosity in western jazz developed, he joined KJC in 2021 and completed his Higher Diploma in Jazz from KJC in 2023. During his two year course at KJC, he learned composition, arrangement and jazz language. Currently, he is involved in the band "Astra" as a guitarist where they perform their original tunes and he also works as a freelance arranger.
